He thinks he can bully masses into paying for online content because he owns so many newspapers. That will fail as there is so much free news. Online advertising has to pull the weight to pay for the online news. Online news that do not charge will be the winners in the end with all the hits, and then they can charge even more for advertising, so beware Rupert. Even if he can manage to do illegal things like get ALL news to band up with him and charge, the current news will be replaced by socially gathered news and real life experiences from places like twitter. He has taken the wrong road, mark my words this day, this will be reversed. Donn Rupert is living in the wrong century.
